Old Year New Year

Father Time, ticking away
Another year gone by
Wondering about what adventure
We will be exposed to in the new year

Will it be a marvelous wonderful year
Or will it be somewhat sad or bad
Praying for only goodness and happiness
Hoping God will throw out the bad

A new year filled with hope
Love, happiness and peace
A year filled with faith and love
God’s love, peace and protection

I pray your new year 2005
Will be blessed with beautiful things
Faith, love, good health and happiness
And families to love and care for

So as 2004 is ticking away
And 2005 is waiting to come in
Buckle up your seat belts
For a marvelous, wonderful ride

With his blessed angels
Being protected all year through
