A Mother's Prayer

Lord, each day as I come to You and pray
For my children to love You everyday
I pray they will always take You as a Guide,
Reflect Your divine love, whate'er betide.

In this dark world may their light shine
Though storms and trials come to them
Leaning upon You Lord, "Oh what a Friend",
May they love and trust, You to the end!

Tears and sorrows may crush their hearts
Your love for them will always remain
Keeping their eyes on a Friend who stands by,
Living to please You; in Your love abide.

Lord at the end of their journey
And they reflect back over the years
I pray they will say....Thank You Jesus,
My perfect Friend, for all the love and care.
