Momma

You’ve been gone so long
My heart has been so empty
Momma are you listening
Are you watching out for me

I know the world in heaven
Is so beautiful and you are so happy
But I need you to listen,
For my heart is crying out to you

For I know a momma’s love is special
Look how Mother Mary loved her son
Our blessed Lord Jesus Christ
The savior of the world

I know momma you have this love
In your heart for your child
So momma look down and listen
To my loving prayer

For I miss your gentleness
The beautiful smile on your face
The compassion in your lovely eyes
But most of all your tender love

For momma if there were no words
I know I would still hear you
For I’m still your little girl
And I love and miss you endlessly
