 Lord, Let Me


Lord, let me sing Your praises,
For I would not want to perish,
And Lord, just let me spread Your word,
For Your love I'll always cherish.

Let me always stop to "thank you,"
For the blessings I receive,
Lord, strengthen me with honesty,
And help me never to deceive.

Lord, help me to put others,
Always before myself,
Just like I would store away,
Something special on a shelf.

Make me eager to rise each day,
And make a fresh new start,
Because you're right there beside me,
And always in my heart.
