I Remember You

I remember the gentleness of you,
You holding me close in your heart,
How you’d say loving words so romantic,
I think back when our love did start.

I remember the times you held me close,
Our dancing to romantic songs,
How we glowed just looking at each other,
I think back and know my heart longs.

I remember the sweet music sounding,
The deep love we both felt so much,
And our hearts pounding in rhythm as one,
I think back on passions grand touch.

I remember the feel of loving eyes,
And how you’d smile your special ways,
Just to take a little kiss that thrilled me,
I think back on those kinds of days.

I remember all the sweetness ‘bout you,
The way you squeezed my hand so tight,
Your romantic loving ways took my heart,
I think back on each love filled night.

I remember all our times together,
Our romance and the love so true,
The compassionate feelings always shared,
I think back, I remember you.
