An Hour With You

Winding roads, I've traveled,
Along the path of life.
From mountain peaks, to valleys,
Only one who knows my plight.

Yet when I'm in the valleys
I know that I will grow;
And when I see the mountain peaks
God's love most surely shows.

These travels in my lifetime,
Have taught a special truth.
'Tho I oft feel so alone,
My hand, God won't turn loose.

He's ready; and He's waiting,
For me to simply trust.
I'll follow in His footsteps.
He's faithful and He's just.

Skies may change from blue to gray,
Yet I shall still press on.
For soon, I'll rest forever more.
I'll see my home, sweet home.
