The beautiful white and yellow Daisy's
Growing in my flower garden
Gives me an opportunity
To play a childhood game

He loves me or he loves me not
Wondering how many petals
Will that lovely daisy have
Will it say yes or will it say no

But what will the petals say
He loves me or he loves me not
Sure hope it says he cares
For I have loved him for a long time

It sure would be terribly sad
If I'd let myself play the daisy game
And the daisy petals would end up
He loves me not

So I don't know if it would be very smart
To even think about playing this game
Well, maybe I can try playing
Just one little petal at a time
