Gentle whisper in the night
Soft sweet and heart-warming
Magnificent words of love
Heavenly feelings surround us
In the peacefulness of the night

A young angel dressed in pure white
From her beautiful head down to her toes
With a brilliant sparkling halo
Eyes as dazzling as the blue, blue sea

Twinkling with brilliance
Like the magnificent stars in the sky
A soft gentle whisper
Was heard in the night

The young angel was tickled pink
God had sent her from heaven above
Just to make sure we knew
How very much we are loved

You see it was the young angel's first job
God had given her on earth
It made her feel grown up
And gave her a feeling of great worth
