Sometimes when we talk about God
Others…really don’t want to hear
Different teachings in their life
May have caused them to have fear

Some think of Him as a "Mean God"
With lots of punishment in store
They’re afraid of drawing His attention
When bringing their sin…to the fore

They are hoping their life will go on
And they’ll slide through the cracks
The problem is, They are misinformed
Not knowing …..all of the facts

Our God is a God of "True Love"
Patience, Forgiveness and Grace
Who sent his only beloved Son
As A sacrifice, for the human race

God does "Abide" in our praises
Deserving of ....our honor and respect
We must strive to know him better
Not turn away from him…in neglect

We shouldn’t be in fear of our God
And the mighty things he can do
For, above all else on this earth
He truly "Loves" Me and You!
