Enlaced In Love

Sweet words spoken,
Eyes that glow,
Lips inviting,
Love to show.

Hold me close my dear,
Ne’er let me go,
Hearts intertwining,
Love we will know.

Breathless and quickened,
Grasping and holding,
Making memories,
That last a lifetime.

Awakening to blissfulness,
Recalling the recent past,
Departing so deeply regretted,
Yet thoughts in the mind will last.
