Death Row
I have a compassion for the people,
Who are waiting.......on "Death Row;"
Knowing their time on earth is short,
How short, they really don't know.
I try to imagine how they must feel,
How sorry or remorseful they are;
Maybe they hope death will come soon,
Thinking it better ......... by far!
I suppose they think of their family,
A Husband or maybe a Wife;
Wishing, that for their sakes,
Their sentence had only been life.
Do they cherish every moment,
Have they prayed forgiveness of God;
Do they feel everything is against them,
And their death will raise an "Applaud?"
Did they feel they were treated justly,
For the crime that was committed;
Or are they truly innocent,
And should have been acquitted?
Only God in heaven knows,
He, being the "Final" judge of all;
When the dreadful day arrives,
I pray His name, they will call!
For on that day, if He is asked,
He will be there without question;
Forgiving, blessing with peace
And courage..........and
His love....as the "Main Connection!"

John 14: 27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto
you.
Not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let
Not your heart be troubled, neither let it be
afraid.
