Jesus, place a song in my heart

And put a spark back into my eyes
As bright as the sun at noon

Put a lilt into my voice
Make my step a little bit lighter
Cause my face to shine with joy
And my spirit ever... So brighter

Bless my lips...from which I speak
Let goodness and sweetness...be heard
As I try to spread love to everyone
Like you asked us to do... In your word

Let me learn to think of others
And help them ...whenever I can
