Christmas Morning

The candles burn this night,
Illuminating how we're feeling,
His love is present with us,
As we worship as we're singing.

Christmas carols fill our world with cheer,
Reaching out His Christ child message,
We wish this time for us would never end,
Yet settle down for soon comes morning.

We close our eyes and know there's Angels,
Watching while we're sleeping (sleep tight),
When morning dawns it brings His gifts of life,
Which keep on giving.

Memories bring us back to yesteryear,
Frozen moments we have treasured,
With visions focused on our families,
We gather round on Christmas morning.

It's Christmas time in our hearts Lord, the lights are,
Shining, they glow from deep within,
Your Son was born this day we celebrate His birth.

The snow flakes fall each one reminds us,
Of that special feeling of warmth,
We're nestled in with fires burning brightly in our hearts.

The Children rush downstairs to wake us up,
They can sense this day has meaning,
We long to feel this joy all year round,
His gift of love on Christmas morning.
